Seriously, just today, I decided to vote for Obama

It was just something I finally resolved to do while I was at work daydreaming today. But, after seeing these vile unwarranted irrational attacks on Hillary, I’m right back where I started. I just cant be part of this insanity, sorry.

6. Judge Obama on Obama, not his supporters
But are you really ok with what Hillary said today? I am not a Hillary hater and I really am trying to rationalize what she said, but when I look at the actual quote I just can't. If she had said "my husband and RFK did not wrap it up until June", that would be one thing, but she used the word "assassinated". I just can't figure out what she could have been thinking.

7. Enough with the whining! If you held Hillary as accountable as you do DUers
you wouldn't have ANY problem voting for Obama. Your values are seriously messed up!

13. You're not voting for Obama's DU supporters.
Support the candidate him/herself -

We're not the ones who will be in the WH in January.

And for the record, Obama's campaign has been very gracious in its response to this.

18. OK, this is what I don't get. People don't like Hillary because of things Hillary says but I've
seen so many Hillary supporters claim they wont support Obama because of things nameless, faceless people unconnected with the campaign or candidate say online. Make your decision based on what he says and she says not on what people blabbing online say.

Really, if you decided he was ok earlier today, he certainly hasn't done anything to deserve your change of mind. Focus on him, not the rest of it. Please.

22. I didn't start with Obama. But I am totally for him now.
He is too conservative for my tastes, but I suppose palatable to the Centrists that we need.

My biggest reason for supporting him is the effect he will have on down-ticket races with turnout and on our international image. I don't see much difference between his and Hillary's domestic agendas. I see a big difference between their diplomatic styles. We don't need another belicose president Male or Female.

I entreat you to vote Obama. If his supporters offend you, just know that you don't have to take them all to breakfast or invite them over as house guests.

23. If I based my perspective on Hillary supporters on the internet,
I would never support her if she became the GE candidate. David Axlerod says that he gives Hillary the benefit of the doubt. I doubt that Howard Wolfson would be so kind if Obama ever said anything similar in nature. But you are entitled to your opinion and I urge you to support whoever your conscience ultimately tells you to vote for.

31. I love the internet for reading interesting political discussions,
points of view, and yes, heated debate. But nothing, NOTHING, I read here or on other sites could

1. Sway me from supporting my candidate (only his actions/words could do that).
2. Convince me to act in a way that would result in a McCain GE win, even if Clinton were to become the nominee, and yes - even after today.

If your support is so ephemeral and easily influenced, I suggest you step away from the computer. But then, considering you've done a post-and-run on this thread, I guess you already have.
