Let us uplift our candidate. :)

He has done a great job campaining in Florida these last 3 days.

When the General Election comes around, Florida and what Obama did there will be way more important than what Hillary said about 1968.

Thanks to Hillary, McCain's Pastors have been knocked out of the news, as well as McCain not being present to vote for the GI Educational Bill yesterday.

Here's the most excellent OBama cerebral speech given to "not the choir"!

Also his 2003 speech at a Labor Rally: (to verify consistency over time)

7. The Chairman of the Cuban American National Foundation
Basically stated in his speech right before Obama that Bush had totally fucked up in his Cuban Policies. Good news for the Dems in Florida!

8. That was one important speech - thanks.
It is perhaps telling of the "neglect of the Americas" that there is probably not a lot of interest...years of local dysfunction have conditioned us to expect little, and to envision nothing.

I have an open mind, and see problems too without being able to see solutions...things have been the same set of stalemates for so long. I am amazed again at the grasp of policies and history and potentials that Obama demonstrates. Thanks again.

12. You're welcome. Obama can win these Cuban-American Republicans......
They were clapping quite a bit.

Just trying to balance out this forum.

There is really too much "Hillary" here, at this forum.

IMO, She's no longer viable as a contender....

14. I don't know how to say this, but CANF doesn't work for democracy in Cuba.
And courting that organization is nothing to be proud of. Their mission is to overthrow the Cuban government -- sort of like how we took democracy to Iraq.

I guess he feels he needs those votes but CANF is a special interest group and the welfare of the Cuban people, let alone, democracy in Latin America is nowhere on their radar screen.

19. That was my first reaction too, but
I think Obama is trying to put it on their radar screen. This is intriguing.

20. Intriguing? it's like trying to reform the Mafia.
These people were just caught last week sending money into Cuba via one of our own diplomats to destablize the Cuban government.

These people are not altruists.

16. Frenchie!
Thanks for posting. This is an incredible speech, especially because CANF has been bouncing around from one political party to the other and has sometimes not shown the best judgment...but maybe that's because they have been emptily pandered to for so long.

Fascinating!

22. It was OK, considering that he was addressing a bunch of sociopathic shitstains
--which he pretty much has to do because sociopaths vote too. Yay for US imperial domination of Latin America! Thanks, but no thanks.

23. I've read that younger Cuban Americans are much more liberal
than their gusano parents. I'm surprised Obama did this, to tell you the truth.
