Fellow Hillary Supporters: Time to Give Again!
Edited on Sat May-24-08 09:33 AM by kennetha
I just gave another 100. I am so disgusted by the way that these Obamaniacs behave that I've almost decided that I won't vote for anyone in the fall. I've voted in every single election since 1972. Worked on the McGovern Campaign, Mo Udall's campaign, Kennedy's campaign in 1980, Harold Washington's mayoral campaign, Jackson's 88 campaign, and on and on. I've never sat out a single election, never voted against the democratic nominee, even when my guy lost in the primaries. But I am so disgusted with the way Hilary has been mistreated and so angry that I might just sit this one out.

Right now, I hope Hillary does go all the way to the convention and I hope she finds some way to wrest this nomination away from Obama. And I'm giving yet again so that she can keep trying. Please join me, fellow Clinton supporters.

39. You're mad at Obama because Hillary brought up the RFK assassination?
Seriously, how much sense does that make? Obama didn't make her say those words. Lucky for Hillary, he won't use her bitter-gate tactics and run non-stop commercials about it and send out flyers and mailers all over the country.

53. you might want to visit some of the "black" blogs and consider
the effects of Hillary's words.

She has done irreparable damage to her campaign.

The blogosphere is amazingly segregated, its up to us to deliberately
be aware of all sides of it.

7. Obamaniacs?
Expressing disgust at how some people behave is one thing, but then calling them names like "Obamaniacs" just reinforces that you are not above that type of behavior yourself.

Regardless, I'd like to think that I'm voting for a candidate based on that candidate's record and platforms and not based on some of that candidate's more rabid supporters. I wish more people would vote based on record and platforms, unfortunately history proves otherwise.

Make sure Hillary has repaid her outrageous debt.

Keep money out of the DNC hands so the RNC can out spend us.

Make sure Mark Penn can buy another condo.

Donate out of disgust, rage, hatred. Now that you haven't a philosophical leg to stand on.

10. OK, but even if you're disgusted by the way Obama's supporters have treated Hillary.....
.... Obama himself has treated her quite gracefully. Quite honestly, compared to the things she's said about him, he looks downright Saint-like.....Hopefully clearer heads will prevail in the end. Making decisions based on immediate emotions is never a good thing - witness America post-9/11.

15. Donations can be made in the form of 5, 10, or 20 million dollars.
Really, I'd advise against giving money to this campaign right now if you have any real expectations. Standing in the real world, It's never a smart idea to give money to drunkards, gamblers, drug addicts, and people who are bad with money. Hillary is not so good with money, methinks.

Yes! More attacks on Obama! That's how we'll right her campaign! And more confetti!

Some people make me want to comb my head a few times with a baseball bat, just to see if what they say afterwards makes any more sense than it did before hand. Congratulations, you may make that list.

repeatedly in a Freudian slip. Then ignores its import in her clarification.

Please make sure as you give in support that you realize how big a mark she has placed on her soul. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. I'm sure she can explain it to other giving people that June was all she indicated by her words.

in edit I changed who advocates that a tragedy can befall her opponent from who advocates for death of their opponent. I thought it was an overstatement on my part.

24. Thanks for standing true to your convictions and supporting Hillary.
However, don't let what you read here and elsewhere cause you to forego voting this time around if Obama is the nominee. Our country cannot afford a President McCain.

I have seen several posters who I know to be Obama supporters try to bring some reason and logic into this latest situation. The opinions voiced here by some of his more ardent "supporters" are not a reflection of Obama himself, just the rantings of people who use an anonymous message board to try to intimidate anyone who does not agree with them or to manufacture dissent among others who would ordinarily be able to have a reasonable discussion of issues. I feel quite certain that some of the more rabid posters on this site are not really supporters of either candidate but merely here to spread hate and discord. Hopefully they will leave when the nominee is decided.

That being said, I have already sent another contribution to Hillary because I have felt for some time, and continue to feel, that she is the best qualified candidate remaining for the nomination.

36. Thank you for your desire for peace.
But I respectfully disagree with your assessment. There are discordant supporters on both sides and I choose to join their ardent ranks because your candidate is poisoning the Democratic chances in November. Period.

I would not count you in the list of certain Hillary supporters who continue to drive a wedge into us. However, I find this OP low class and will stridently work on defeating Hillary so that we can ALL win in November.

Qualified or not, she has lost. Qualified or not, she is a narcissistic, selfish politician. Just like most of them, but to the nth degree.

Peace to you.

Whatever your reservations about Obama, McCain is surely still much worse, and so are his supporters. Just look at the kind of people who still back Bush after all this time.

Your anger is understandable--this has been an ugly campaign--but at some point we're going to have to get past it and its legacy and stop the Republican Party.

Was Clintons remarks on her and McCain having experience and Obama having a speech OKAY?

Was "Obama is sexist even though I have no clear evidence" OKAY?
Was Clinton praising Fox News and conservative media as fair and the liberal media as against her OKAY?
Was "Obama is an elitist and out of touch with regular people" OKAY!?
Was "Obama isn't a Muslim......as far as I know" OKAY?

"But I am so disgusted with the way Hilary has been mistreated and so angry that I might just sit this one out. "

You have GOT to be kidding me. Unlike Hillary, Obama isn't going to Fox News to make points off of this. He isn't attacking her. Your post is disgraceful.
