To Hillary Supporters: It was incredibly tasteless for Hillary to have used the word ASSASSINATE
Look, strip away the semantics of what she was trying to get at.

Why the heck would she use the word ASSASSINATE at all, particularly given the historic runs of both her and Barack's candidacies? How do you explain her using the exact phrase back in March according to Time magazine? If McCain had said what Hillary just said, I think he'd be toast. Gone.

This is a character issue to me. And it unfortunately reveals a lot.

1. OK...I guess she could have said
"RFK was still campaigning for the Primaries as late June..."
Poor choice of words, I'll give you that.
But I don't think she meant that Obama might be assassinated, and that's why she is still in the race...

12. I'm not so sure about that...why do you think she is still in the race
if she was not hoping that something would happen to him..I have thought this for a long time but yesterday it was out in the open..just give me one reason other than that why she stayed in this race..

19. Hmmm...I see what you are saying.

I have been wondering many times why she stays in the race.
If I was to venture a guess, I'd say she thinks that the Michigan and Florida delegates will be seated, and she will win the nomination thanks to her super delegate friends in Congress and elsewhere.
And when I say the Michigan delegates, I mean 69 dels for her, and 0 for Barack, since she refused the compromised that was offered of giving him the undecideds.

I just don't want to keep on talking about this RFK thing, and try to guess what she really meant, etc. To say that she would "obliterate Iran" was enough for me. I don't need anything else to convince me that I don't want her to be President (nor vice President) of the US.
On edit: and there was no doubt or discussion about what she meant then...obliterate is obliterate.

5. Bobby Kennedy has been friends with her for years. He can't "on an emotional level" admit to himself
that his friend is "a sociopath." But that is what she is: A narcissistic sociopath.

6. So, you feel it's OK for her to continue to use this approach?
I thought she was hoping for a major new Obama scandal but I NEVER imagined she had this lurking in the back of her mind.

7. In a statement, Kennedy Jr. said:
“It is clear from the context that Hillary was invoking a familiar political circumstance in order to support her decision to stay in the race through June. I have heard her make this reference before, also citing her husband's 1992 race, both of which were hard fought through June. I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense."

9. He's a Hillary supporter! What's he supposed to say?
There's an attempt by the Clintons to frame this blunder as an affront to the Kennedys. This avoids the main issue, that Obama will be campaigning in June and she said bad things sometimes happen in June. The comment was extremely offensive to Sen Obama. She needs to apologize to Sen. Obama, no matter what her campaign and supporters say. I think this apology will come, tearfully, next Tuesday, if not sooner.

Good luck with her remaining political career.

4. FOUR TIMES HRC or her supporters have evoked the memory of the 1968 RFK Assassination.
Dammit, she needs to GET HELP but first drop out of the race and resign her Senate seat.

She is mentally UNFIT for public service.

16. No, the Clinton Crusade is trying to spin this as NOTHING.
Obama will be the nominee. Clinton will not be his VP. Her statement yesterday was the last straw.

10. Tasteless is the cheap food that many in America can
barely afford to buy. There are critically serious issues of poverty that apparently are not as knee jerking as this tastelss word is. For the sake of those who would love to find some food to taste, let's work together for this election.

14. Change all the history books - JFK, RFK, MLK, Abraham Lincoln, James Garfield and...
...William McKinley......weren't assassinated - they uh, stopped breathing very suddenly.

RFK's campaign ended when he uh - stopped breathing very suddenly in June, 1968.

What a bunch of bullshit!

18. My husband. RFK Assassinated. June.
WTF. It's the wrong historical reference to use. You NEVER cite an assassination as a reason to explain the primary length. It's fucking wrong.
