Clinton Surrogate Makes Creepy Reference To JFK Assassination
This happened in January and was basically ignored by many in the media. The only thing pounced on was Hillary's inartful statement about MLK/LBJ. Maybe if the media had focused on the gaffe from January we may not have seen Hillary repeat it up to this point.

Clinton’s Civil Rights Lesson
By Sarah Wheaton

DOVER, N.H. — As they barnstorm through New Hampshire, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and her husband are often introduced by supporters who once backed another candidate but converted to her cause.

Today, in Dover, Francine Torge, a former John Edwards supporter, said this while introducing Mrs. Clinton: “Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he was assassinated. And Lyndon Baines Johnson was the one who actually” passed the civil rights legislation.

The comment, an apparent reference to Senator Barack Obama, is particularly striking given documented fears among blacks that Mr. Obama will be assassinated if elected.

Phil Singer, a Clinton spokesman said: “We were not aware that this person was going to make those comments and disapprove of them completely. They were totally inappropriate.”

Mrs. Clinton’s expression did not change noticeably when Ms. Torge made the comment.

8. Classic Republican tactics
Obfuscate and muddy the debate. That Jesus comment made NO sense whatsoever.

9. shows why Hillary's 'apology' yesterday
didn't contain an actual apology in it. She doesn't see anything wrong with this.

10. That's the amazing thing
Her camp has been saying this since at least January and they never had a problem with it before people started criticizing her. When this statement was made in January it was not in reference to prolonging the campaign into June. At that time she thought it would be over on Super Tuesday.

11. I just read the statement again
in the original post, and it is even MORE disturbing than her comments yesterday. Why was this swept under the rug? It's clear that they were talking about Obama getting assassinated. If the MSM gives this report some airtime, Hillary will be lucky to escape with her Senate seat after this campaign is over.

13. I have been wondering why this didn't get more coverage also
The media spent their time discussing Hillary's awkward comments regarding MLK/LBJ. She got that talking point from this woman but the press failed to discuss the other part of what this woman said.

This is another example of the press sitting on their hands.

12. It's a pattern. Only an ignoramus or an adherent would deny it.
