Yes, she's responsible for the words coming out of her mouth, and yes its sad she doesnt want to own up to them, but maybe we should recognize it for the fuck up it is and leave it there. I feel like we're creating an almost "assassination watch" atmosphere, where we're just waiting for someone to take a shot. Someone brought up a good point where his family cant be feeling to good right now. The fact hillary didnt even apologize to his family speaks volumes on her.

4. She apologized -- sort of -- ONE of the times when she cited the
RFK example. And that time was when it was on tape and hit the internet and news shows.

She didn't apologize -- even sort of -- the other times she said it. Why should we accept this sort-of apology?

There's a difference in saying you're sorry and meaning it.

10. She said she
regretted if anyone took offense at her remark which is pretty much accusing those who were offended that it was there fault they were offended since she didn't mean to offend them.

That is not an apology. It's doubletalk.

14. And she has their checkbooks for desert - the poor, pitiable fools
Attention: Hillbots - send all your future donations to Indiana University, not HRC's fund raising site.

3. She didn't apologize. Apologies don't have conditions.

EDIT: Or did I miss a later, *actual* apology somewhere along the line?

9. absolutely
The ongoing debate over her words gives her reason to play the victim yet again. She said it, it's over, lets move on. Let her finish the campaign. Hopefully the voters in the remaining states will vote for Obama and this will end with his victory and she will then go away!

11. He doesn't have to....she's doing that well enough on her own.
He can be conciliatory and extend the olive branch, and it makes her look all the more like an ogre.

12. In their zeal for attacking Clinton, they exploited the death of RFK
Edited on Sat May-24-08 11:36 AM by DemGa
Their frenetic smear campaign has led them over the edge - of course they can only continue to blame Clinton.
