Is * psychologically preparing himself for defeat?
Now even the renouned rightwing pundit and CIA outer/traitor Novakula ADMITS that Kerry is winning. He even goes so far as to state that a win for * will be an UP-HILL BATTLE!!

:bounce::kick:

I'm just curious about what kind of mental gymnastics AWOL is utilizing to cope. Monkey bars, perhaps?

But actually, after momma's done cuffing him in the ear, he'll be soooooo relieved to be out of there so he can vacation FULL time instead of just half the time.

2. Why would he be preparing himself for defeat
Right now Karl Rove is pounding Kerry hard and deep with the Swift Boat Vets and screaming "Who's your daddy bitch". Kerry's just taking it lying down.

4. Because he is LOSING. All the electoral college predictors show him
being defeated by Kerry. Btw, you sound a little defensive over this. Is * your guy? :D

5. The Shrub is NOT my guy
But if Kerry doesn't hit back he deserves what he's getting, a ticket to the losers circle.

Kerry has a 4 pt lead with Bush going into a convention and controling the news cycle. Bush can pull 5% just by ramping up the terror threat and Iran war chant. The convention bounce added to that means humiliation for Kerry and 4 years of hell for us.

Of course we'll always be able to say 'but we didn't stoop to their level'. Tell that to the thousands who die needlessly in Bush's second term.

You forgot one little thing: WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO NOT DESERVE GEORGE ASSHOLE * ANOTHER 4 YEARS!

(Pssst, if you're not a freeper you sure play one well. ;))

I'm not a freeper but I'm not kumbaya singing sandal wearing flake either. Get used to it. 'Staying the course' means losing.

20. 'Kumbaya Singing Sandal-Wearing Flake'. Mr. Winnin?
An interesting turn of phrase, that. It hardly describes those here most sanguine about the current contest.

In one particular, by the way, your analysis is as dated as that phrase. Excellent polling data has emerged that indicates that the more concerned people are about the possibility of an attack on the United States by Islamic radicals, the more likely they are to express support for a victory by Sen. Kerry in this election. A few more of these phony "alerts", and Sen Kerry will open out an even wider lead.

Within a week of the close of the Republican convention, Sir, Sen. Kerry will have a five point lead in the polls, and will hold that margin until election day: depend upon it.

"LET'S GO GET THOSE BUSH BASTARDS!"

19. You know, I very rarely do this
but you've been popping up in a lot of threads lately, and everything you have to say is nothing but outright pessimism. You diss Teresa, you act like the sky is falling no matter what the news is. Even your name is pessimistic. If I didn't know better I'd say you were a troll...

3. They'll sedate him..............
more than they are now, and surround him with "positive" people who will lie to him and tell him he's doing just fine and that everything's just peachy kean! AFTER he loses will be the big challenge.
Trying to convince the little emperor that his subjects have exiled him from Washington will be no small task. He will surely go completely nuts and have to be institutionalized.
It will be something to behold! I hope they televise it.

6. When you have lemons, make lemonade
He's losing so the best thing they can do now is embrace that and turn Bush into an underdog. Lower the bar so far that if he doesn't blow a question in a debate that equates with him winning it. If a swing state is not totally beyond Bush's reach that shows he still has a fighting chance to be reelected. Create a "he's behind at halftime" atmosphere and then turn the Republican Convention into a win one for the Gipper locker room pep talk. The quicker they can shed the memory that Bush was ever a favorite to be reelected the better off they are.

take George Will before him. At least Will is a serious baseball fan.

9. NO

Dubaya is too arrogant to consider the possibility. Remember, in his mind, he was chosen by god. What god has joined, let not man put asunder!!!!!

What I'm REALLY worried about it that Kerry will win and Bush will resort to military means to stay in power.

10. He's a bully, meaning he's basically a coward.
I wouldn't be surprised if the fascist traitors, like Novakula, are already smoozing up to the next administration in a desperate attempt to protect themselves from the inevitable prosecution a progressive government will bring. * is stupid like a fox. He knows when the scam is up and will do what it takes to protect his lilly white precious little arse.

I believe he is stupid and mentally ill. I am not trying to take away from your post in any way. His mental state is decaying as the days go on and he scares the beegeezits out of me.

14. wrote his own speech for Las Vegas
His handlers let him write his own speech in Las Vegas. Ramblings....run-ons..... um's, um's. Air force One touched down and left in under 2 hours. So much for connecting with the people. The newscasters asked the reporter on the tarmac how big the crowd was and he replied there wasn't any crowd. There was a 15 minute freeze on flights when AF1 touched and a 15 minute freeze when AF1 left. He didn't waste any time in Nevada.
