3. Yep. And against McCain? She wins by three and Obama loses by 3.
And what would polling people who have already voted mean for anything?

With the exception of Puerto Rico, Montana & South Dakota....

What is the daily Democratic Gallup poll other than a popularity contest?

5. Any poll against McCain doesn't mean anything until we have a nominee

6. It certainly means more than a national Clinton vs Obama poll at this point
in the Primary calender.

10. well, yeah it does.
An Obama vs. McCain poll means very little at this time. But an Obama vs. Clinton poll means even less, since that race is effectively over.

12. As long as we have a GDP forum the Obama vs Clinton poll is all that counts

14. As a feel good metric for Obama supporters, perhaps
I know I like it when I see his numbers go up.

But what if tomorrow's Gallup poll were to show Clinton ahead? It won't, but it wouldn't make any difference if it did. He's still the nominee.

11. Obama hasn't started competing against McCain yet. Just like he overtook Hillary's early lead,
he'll overcome McCain's insignificant lead. Will YOU vote for Obama?

... that once this party unifies behind a single nominee, those "vs. McCain" polls are going to look pretty sweet to all of us. :-)

Only a handful of days left before we can all take a deep breath and call this thing "over." And on to November.

17. A poll about the Democratic race last December would not be a good guide to how it has turned out.
Think about it.

20. The Lee Newspaper Poll has Obama leading by 17% in MT. That's a pretty good lead.
