Scott McClellan blames the press for letting him get away with it
This may be the first time a "Chief Propagandist" has actually admitted to the propaganda.

According to the article at http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10649.html former Bush Press Secretary Scott McClallan acknowledges that the administration used propaganda to sell the war, adding, "In this case, the ‘liberal media’ didn’t live up to its reputation. If it had, the country would have been better served.”

I agree with him, and admire that he was willing to come out and say it. Nevertheless, it is kind of funny (in a sad way) to hear him say, in effect, "Hey, it's not my fault that I misled you, it's your fault for not catching me!" But there's also some truth to it. There's plenty of blame to go around.
