BUSH WON'T WIN BECAUSE HE IS THE WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY!
Sorry, the Kerry can't win crap has got to stop. WE ARE WINNING right now, if democrats can just keep it together until Nov., we WIN.

Yes, we have a lot of work to do, but what we are doing is working. Forget the media whores they peddle nothing but lies, talk to the people around you, in the park, at work, where ever. So no resting for anyone, but we can do this, and we are doing this. People are paying attention, Dean's Dozen is doing well, the MS democrats have never done better, for Buddha's sake, the message is getting out.

Bushco offers no future, this time (as usual, I might say) Democrats have the visions of tomorrow, even if we don't win in Nov, we will win in the long run.

So stop with this Kerry can't win Bull Shit. Kerry is packin'um in by the thousands. People are fainting and swooning over the man, we are doing really well.

Sorry to whoever posted below, I just had to say it.

13. It almost seems...
It almost sems that you're rooting for them to do something bad, so you can crow about it after the election. Vindication for the lies and chicanery of Bev Harris is more important than the election it seems.

Pretty defeatist for someone saving democracy. :eyes:

17. Why SHOULDN'T We Be Worried About Diebold??
> It almost seems that you're rooting for them to do something bad, so
> you can crow about it after the election.

How does reminding people about the long shadow that Diebold casts
over our democratic process constitute "rooting for them to do something
bad"? I'd like nothing more than for Kerry to win by such a huge
margin that the BFEE won't even think of trying to steal the election
or otherwise usurp power. I think everyone on DU feels the same way.

What has Bev Harris said this is not true?

This is not a rhetorical question, I have seen a number of posts here
lately bashing her, but none provide anything at all in the way of
explanation as to why she is deserving of being bashed.

19. The Rest of Us Will Do Without Optimism Until January 20th
Optimism is a luxury we cannot afford, as we learned in 2000,
because it leads to complacency. We all thought we would win
in 2000. Many went to bed on that election night thinking we HAD won.
We had, of course, but we got robbed. We didn't expect that.

We would be extremely foolish not to expect the same this year.

5. Bah. That means little.
Bush SHOULDN'T win because he's the worst president in history.

However, he still can, and we must do everything in our power to prevent it.

6. Bush IS the worst President ever, but why is the vote still 50-50?
Are we the worst citizens this country has ever had? I would say yes. Is it due to television and lack of reading? Is it over for the US of A?

7. Beware of overconfidence
They are launching a media blizzard of lies in the next 2 months
that will seek to disorient the public totally, and they can always
postpone the poll for a false terrorism warning like they do.

Better to have a humble respect for them and kick their fucking asses
on nov 2. Nobody on the dem side should be thinking its a sure thing
or they might forget to turn out and vote.

Spread reassuring optimism, and get out the vote.

Kerry in 2004! :-)

11. Then stop bitching and get to work, even if you are all ready working
your ass off, double it.

I am working hard to make sure we win, are you?

Things don't have to be this way, and ending this Kerry's can't win junk is a first step.

Failure is not an option.

10. Bush is not the worst President in history.
The constitution clearly states that to be President of the United States, you need to be elected to the office. You cannot be President as a result of a Supreme Court installation.

Bush is the worst person to have acted as President, but he is not the worst President. To be the worst example of something you must be a member of the class of things being described.

18. Use your heads
who got the majority of votes in 2000? Gore! With smirks record, how in the hell can he get the majority this time? Kerry will most likely carry the same states Gore did, plus extra because shrub has screwed up so bad..which means more electoral votes.

21. And young people and black people are going to be out to vote big time
All Bush has is 1% of the greedyiest mother fucker alive, and half of the white people, and the corporate whore Media.

Kerry leads Bush with ALL the Minorities. All of them. Dems rule the internet, and are always on the cutting egde of technology. We have talkshow hosts like Letterman, Stewart, Mahyer, Norton, and occasionally Leno actually says something worthwhile.

Hispanics alone are the fastest growing demographic in this country and Kerry is beating Bush big time with almost 65%

The progressives and dems won by plenty last time, Bush has done nothing but lose voters since 9/11. They have 35% and the voting machines, it will be tough, but it can be done.
