Poll question: DU members as a percentage of total voters in the GE?
If we took the total number of DU members (assuming every one will vote in the GE) and divide it by the total number of voters in the GE, what percentile of the total votes would we represent?

2. National Dem turnout ~ 50 million. Active DUers? < 5,000*. So <0.01%.

So no more than 1 in 10,000 likely GE Democratic voters
is an active DU member.

The currently-winning poll value represents 0.5 voters
and I *ASSURE* you that I'm voting and I can probably
find four more actual voters here, so that value is
clearly wrong.

Apparently, DUers are either highly innumerate or just
like to screw with polls to make a point.

* We know from a recent "rec this thread" thread that
there are at least 1200-1300 active DU members on the
Obama side. Extrapolating from that, I think we can
safely assume that there are no more than 5,000 or
so active DUers. (Remember, in the real world, most
sock puppets don't get to cast a vote unless they're
"Snow birds" illegally dual-registered in, say, NH
and FL.)

3. Sorry to our "1% voter"; 1% can not be the answer.
There are only 121,157 registered DU usernames and
at any given time, only about 80% of them remain
viable (untombstoned) so ~97,000 active usernames,
some of which are doubtless sock puppets.

97,000 usernames / 50,000,000 Democratic votes = 0.18%
so forget 1%; that's right out.
