Is there a difference between Tom DeLay's tactics and Hillary's tactics?
Edited on Wed May-28-08 12:22 PM by Cyrano
In 2000, Tom DeLay sent his staffers down here to Florida. They stood outside the "hanging chad" room, loudly chanting "Stop the vote."

This weekend, Hillary supporters will be showing up at the DNC meeting and will no doubt be loudly chanting "Count the (Florida) vote."

I'm not comparing Hillary to Tom DeLay. He is one of the most despicable men on the face of the planet. However, someone will have to explain to me how her tactics differ from his.

1. Hmmmm! Good comparison! Don't apologize for it.
Over and over again she's proving that she has learned her lessons at the knee of Karl Rove!

4. While Obamites cry, "Don't count the votes!" "If you count 'em, we'll lose!"

5. Obama has asked that none of his supporters show up to demonstrate.

That aside, lose what? Even if the votes are counted, Hillary won't have enough to win. All such a demonstration can accomplish is to further split our party and make it that much more difficult to beat McCain in the fall.

6. easy:
You see, he was a vile misogynist who tried to steal elections.

vs

She is the embodiment of entitlement, having trained for 35 years of experience for change, every single poll supports her, except those that don't which you can ignore like caucus states which shouldn't count because they don't have primaries like Michigan and Ohio and other states that recognize that she is the bestest and the brightestest, and the worthy-est, and the most experienced, and who else survived sniper attacks like she, plus you know that she is truly christian unlike those who simply give a speech about their religion as far as we know, and her vision and insight led directly to great potential flag burning legislation which should remind you that she came this close || to actually creating some health care legislation that no one was allowed to peak at because it would have ruined the surprise and given a heads up to the people most affected by her legislation and forget the fact that her very secrecy and stubborn stance to having the package discussed and reviewed led directly to an identical approach by Dick Cheney on energy, so ignoring that proves that she is the most likely to win on health care. Errrr, What was your question?

(sorry, I was listening to local talk radio and a Hillaryan spoke about 5 minutes without taking a breath, spewing each and every talking point imaginable in advance of the May 31 meeting)

7. I don't think Hillary is trying to steal the election.
But the tactics she's using sure come close to it.

At one time, I had a lot of respect for Hillary. But, as I said in another post in this forum, what turned me off Hillary was Hillary.

I really don't know how much respect she's going to get from her colleagues in the senate when she returns there.
