Poll question: Will Hillary drop out shortly after June 3rd, or will she take this to the convention?
Simple question really. After the Florida and Michigan delegates are decided on the 31st, and the final votes are cast on June 3, the remaining Supes will most likely make their feelings known. At that point will Hillary drop out and endorse Obama or will she try to take her claim all the way to the convention?

2. She has to drop out and endorse within two weeks, or she's hurting herself.
Her stock has long since peaked in the Democratic party. If she wants to carry any political capital from this race, she MUST concede and enthusiastically endorse by mid June. Otherwise, she'll become a pariah in the party, and will be ostracized by August.

4. All the way to the convention, the Supreme Court, Judge Judy, etc.
No matter what she says now about supporting him if he's the nominee. As many times as she's wanted the rules changed and the goal posts moved her word isn't worth shit. She's going to do everything she can to ruin Obama's chance to win in the general election and assure a victory for McCain and better her chances in 2012.

6. She'll do worse than take it to the convention
Edited on Thu May-29-08 07:55 AM by IWantAnyDem
She will claim victory on the night of November 4 when Obama wins the general election. She will then show up to the national security briefings during November and December where she will be denied entry. On each of these occassions, she will hold press conferences outside the white house where she will shriek "SHAME ON YOU, BARACK OBAMA FOR NOT ALLOWING ME TO GET THE INFORMATION I NEED T DO MY JOB!"

She will be on the inauguration stage on January 9,2009 where she will try to push Obama out of the way so she can take the oath of office. The two Secret Service detachments will look on in bewilderment. Obama will be poised and gracious during what will later be termed "the unfortunate occurence".

Shortly thereafter, she will be hospitalized as the ending to the saddest episode in the history of American Presidential politics.

7.  Only two things will survive World War III: Cockroaches and Hillary Clinton's Campaign
Edited on Thu May-29-08 07:00 AM by IanDB1
See prior thread:

From the ashes of our ruined cities will climb hordes of political consultants desperately scrambling to find surviving superdelegates.

Eventually, millennia from now, The Clinton Campaign will still be trying to convince their Insectoid overlords to vote for Hillary.

And as The Sun consumes the last of its Hydrogen, billions of years from now, The Clinton Campaign will spread among the stars hoping to find even one remaining superdelegate out there, somewhere.

12. If she EVER wants to have another chance at the WH,
she'd do herself a favor by dropping out now and supporting Obama.
Who in their right mind would ever vote for her in 2012 if she screws up the Dems chances this time around?

14. You can be SURE the Netroots community will have their knives out early...
if Hillary tries for 2012. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them continue to bake her for the next 4 years to make sure the Democratic party never forgets.
