All of a sudden he's got a lot more delegates than he had a few days ago.

1. Well if they don't seat FL & MI and he wins 41 out of 86 pledged delegates
from the 3 primaries this week, he'll have a majority of pledged delegates (2026).

But if they come to an agreement on FL & MI, then he'll need more (how many more depends on what they decide to do with FL & MI).

Super-delegates have been coming in 1, 2 or 3 each day for most of the week (but none today). There are still almost 200 super-delegates who haven't declared yet.

3. Funny thing is Senator Nelson
wants the DNC to delay the decision on MI/FL until after the 3 contests. He should rethink his position because Obama will have the nomination locked up if thats the case

4. What reason did he give for that? I thought he was so anxious to have it resolved? nt

5. It was in an earlier thread

Ill have to find it. Basically he said that the committee members would want to see how the remaining three contests are decided before making a decision. I think he's wrong and I still see no logic or reason behind the comment because it would almost certainly work in Obama's favor.

6. I think we should all wait until June 3rd. For God sake, it's only
4 days away! All the primary's will be over, and everyone will have had the chance to vote. We've all lasted this long, what's another 4 damn days?

7. I agree
Personally I would have scheduled the meeting after the final contest but I think its going to be largely irrelevant in changing the course of the primary, Obama will still be on track for the nomination.

8. It truly does not matter. There is no way Hillary can win. Also, Obama will still
need delegates if they seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan. I heard he is going to announce some supers to get him closer to the new magic number. Then he is going to let Montana actually top him off.

10. That was my thinking
That he would get a couple more SD's... like 10, and just get bumped over the edge on the third.
