Hillary supporter actions during the meeting will only sour undecided SDs
Very few want this dragged out to Denver besides the hardcore Hillary supporters and making a total ass of yourself during a crucial Democratic Party Proceeding will only do her much harm in the eyes of Super Delegates who have yet to decide.

Obama was very smart to tell his supporters to stay home from this. They look like the smart ones, the reasonable ones.

Chanting Denver Denver, knowing you are giving McCain a huge huge huge head start will only anger all but the most hardcore Hillary supporters.

6. Clinton and her nutty followers have set back a woman's chance to be president 20 years.
If the reader isn't a "nutty" follower, don't take it personally.

2. That's exactly right. Please, Hillary supporters:
Go to every public place you can and chant "Denver"".

We're counting on you.

4. Ickes behavior will turn them off. He was using rhetoric to keep us
divided. Hijacking the votes? Bullshit! The democratic party of Michigan wanted this resolution! Let her keep going. She will look stupid when she is fighting for a result the state is not asking for.

7. Yeah, it's truly sad. They just don't know how ridiculous they look.
Nor do the posters on this board who want to go to Denver know how ridiculous they "sound".

Seriously, if this board is about supporting the Dems then favoring a convention fight should not be allowed. Of course we know how much rules mean these days...

8. I fear that there are many posters on this board who are here to
disrupt our constructive Democratic political dialog. I'm not sure why they would want to do that.

(who knew that was possible?)

14. I'm embarassed she is calling herself a Democrat in public.
Edited on Sat May-31-08 08:30 PM by casus belli
I understand that not every Democrat is a progressive, but this is maybe the most regressive attitude I have seen from someone calling themself a Democrat. Disgusting on every level.

13. It again shows Obama's camaign to be master tacticians
and the Clinton Camp looks like rank amateurs. If the delegate split today hadn't sealed her fate, her supporters' behavior would have.

18. It must have been.......
much better than the whole "Denver, Denver, Denver!" chant heard through the halls of the committee meeting. Wexler was talking truth, as he usually does.....while the Hill Supporters were acting cultlike!

OBama has got Wexler, Conyers and Waxman endorsing him. Those three are the truth seekers in our government at this time. Suck on that.
