Today's committee hearing made me very proud
What a great group of passionate, intelligent, articulate, reasoned, courteous individuals.

They did a great job of making sense from senselessness and promoting the cause of the greater good and party unity.

I am very proud of all of them.

1. Yeah, the loudmouths in the peanut gallery didn't overpower anyone's reasoning.
We grew a spine!

3. Me too. To me that's what it looks like when the adults step in.
when screaming children are making grandiose and narcissistic demands for attention.

4. They were exceedingly patient. If I were in that room, I'd have had some people REMOVED
from those chambers.

UNBELIEVABLE the behavior from the peanut gallery.

8. I thought it was truly obnoxious, especially after they were asked not to disrupt
the proceedings.

Obama supporters were civil and respectful, though.

That tells you a lot, right there...

11. Yea I heard it ... and if that's the case, we all know there
weren't any Obama DUers among the crowd.

5. Could you imaging Republicans conducting their business out in open like this?
I can't.

7. Of course not.
Although I guess a lot of business got conducted during the "lunch break". It wasn't all open. But anyone who expects every single minute to be open is just not being realistic.

I thought they did a great job, presented all the facts and all the sides and then voted and got a conclusion. All in one day. Very excellent job. I wish all govenrment were so efficient.

12. But- but-- Campbell Brown (CNN post-mortem) was shocked and appalled!
When it was all over, and All her various panalists were virtually agreeing with the similar positive sentiments here, she became very disoriented. She said she had to believe "all the Republicans were high-fiving each other."

Her attempted suggestion was that it was disastrous went over like a lead balloon. Nice try, Campbell.
