I don't consider the people protesting yesterday real Clinton supporters
I don't consider the people saying they'll vote for McCain over Obama if Clinton's not the nominee, real Clinton supporters- or real democrats who care about issues.

I don't consider the people posting at Hillaryis44 or the HillaryClintonForum, real Hillary supporters. They're not interested in supporting Clinton. They're interest is in destroying Obama.

I don't consider people who say they support Clinton and hang on to Larry Sinclair like he was a life preserver, real Clinton supporters or reasonable and decent human beings.

I've seen plenty of real Hillary Clinton supporters here in GD-P. They would never suggest that Obama is a murderer or crackhead engaging in gay sex. They don't call him commie, muslim, black nationalist, unamerican, etc. They aren't waiting breathlessly for some shocking and non-existent revelation about Barack or Michelle. They may well be angry about yesterday. They may well be pissed at what they see as unfair treatment of Hillary, but they don't go there, just as real Obama supporters don't go with the Vince Foster shit. Or the Huma shit. Because some things are beyond the pale.

How much of this disgusting behavior is being fomented by Operation Chaos types? My guess is that on sites like the ones mentioned above, quite a bit. And the rest of them buying into this crap are simply easily manipulated. It's sad, but these people are NOT the bulk of Clinton supporters. And in the end, they won't have a meaningful impact on the election in November. Real Clinton supporters, supported her because they thought she was the most qualified candidate on issues they care about. They won't be sitting home or voting for McCain.

1. Actually, those are the real Clinton supporters.
The not so passionate ones have moved on already.

2. nope. A few hundred or a thousand people showed up
in D.C. yesterday, yet hundreds of thousands will likely vote for her today and Tuesday. The ones protesting and posting absurd shit are zealots or disruptors.

4. They may or may not be actual supporters of Senator Clinton.
It's Clinton's fault, however, that we can't tell her supporters from right-wingers in many cases because of the way she's run her campaign. She's attracted what she's attracted by appealing to the lowest common denominator voter.

You simply don't find this kind of person supporting Obama. Why? Because he has run a campaign with integrity and intelligence. His supporters are going to follow Obama's lead and rise above the ignorance and pathos you see in the types of people who were "protesting" yesterday.

What types are these, you might ask? Remember the "moran" photo?

I'm not saying that all Clinton voters are this kind of low-information, Neanderthal. Most people voting for Clinton are not even aware of all the crap she's been spouting and are voting for the wife of the President who brought us eight years of peace and prosperity. Most Clinton supporters probably fall into this category as well.

Buy there is another element supporting Clinton and it is unsavory.

These are the brow-beaters who think if they yell and scream loud enough and sling enough mad at their opponent, they will bully their candidate into the White House.

There are also, without doubt, those feigning support for Clinton for darker purposes.

The problem is, we can't tell them apart. The reason we can't is because Clinton has run such a scummy campaign that we can't tell the scum she attracts from the scum sent to destroy the Democratic Party.

In the end, it doesn't really matter. Scum is scum.
