He's destroyed his legacy during this campaign. x(

6. Lemming Davis is the worst
A few weeks ago I might have considered Hilary Rosen, but she was on TV the other day sounding much more reasonable and concilliatory. She seems to realize that's it's over.

But Lemming Davis (a former Bush frat brother, BTW) is just the most snide, obnoxious, Eastern Establishment little turd I have ever seen.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-campaign_.1mar30,0,3446864.story

Barack Obama rejected suggestions from his allies that rival Hillary Clinton should end her presidential campaign, saying Saturday that she should "stay in as long as she wants."

Too bad that Stephanie Tubbs Jones wasn't on the list. I might have been tempted to vote for our congresscritter who you think is so great because she supports Hillary just like you do, despite the fact that her DISTRICT went for Obama.

But I didn't hear any bitching when the entire WV Congressional delegation went to Obama.

32. They are neither Democrats nor Leaders
East Germany was officially the "Deutschland Democratic Republic". North Korea's official name is "Democratic People's Republic of Korea". Just because something has "Democratic" in the name doesn't mean they are actually Democrats.

The DLC does not support - and is more than often diametrically opposed to - the principles and traditions of the Democratic party. The most obvious example of this would be in the DLC's "Blueprint" magazine in January 1995, where DLC founders Al From and Will Marshall celebrated the Repuke takeover of Congress and claimed it as an opportunity to "liberate" the Democratic party from the legacy of FDR.

Excuse me??

Do you WANT to be part of a Democratic party that prefers the policies of Reagan/Bush to FDR??

I sure as fuck don't.

Bill Clinton continued those policies, and expanded them with NAFTA and other such corporatist "free" trade horseshit. Those were not the actions of a Democrat. Nor was the sleaze of Hillary's campaign.

24. They have put a single person's political ambitions ahead of the good of the Democratic Party this
year, and in an almost cult-like fashion. So the answer is no: every single person on that list has ceased being "respected Democratic Party supporters." At least for now.

27. The same could be said for those who support Senator Obama
Years of tirelessly working, supporting and electing Democratic Party candidates to office is thrown out the window simply because they are vocal in their support of a candidate in the primary that consistently has garnered nearly 50% of the votes cast throughout the country. Oh yeah, hope and change, feel the love.

30. The same could NOT be said: the comparison is not even remotely analogous.
You said: "Oh yeah, hope and change, feel the love."

That seems to be the tired little mantra of the day in your dreary world, since you constantly repeat it. But it misses the point on at least one level, to wit: "hope and change" is an extended hand to those who wish to grasp it.

You - and a good many other HRC boosters as well as the McCain Republicans - have no interest in shaking that hand, or listening to that message. Fine. But Senator Obama is going to be the Democratic nominee, and you'll soon have some choices to make, sport. Either you drop this snarky opposition to Senator Obama, or take your show on the road elsewhere. The admins & mods have made this crystal clear (see the post pinned to the top of this forum).

It really is that simple.

44. Ickes is so skeevy

In a Clinton campaign that can seem machinelike, Ickes is conspicuous for his idiosyncrasies. A female aide said that when she noticed his dress shirt unbuttoned practically to the navel, it was like glimpsing an unzipped fly.

“I thought someone should have pulled him aside to tell him. I later came to realize that’s how he wears his shirts.”
