Politico's Ben Smith: Meeting Enemies Polls Well
June 02, 2008

Meeting enemies: It polls well

This goes sharply counter to conventional political wisdom, but backs up Obama's strategy: Gallup finds that meeting with hostile leaders is extremely popular:

Large majorities of Democrats and independents, and even half of Republicans, believe the president of the United States should meet with the leaders of countries that are considered enemies of the United States. Overall, 67% of Americans say this kind of diplomacy is a good idea.

1. McCain: Obama's suggestion to talk with Iran is not a new idea!
The freak changes his position based on the poll numbers.

2. McCain is George W. Bush on steroids when it comes to the Middle East. A dangerous, deluded, man!

Dangerous because he is so proudly uninformed and counseled by the same neocons who were responsible for cheerleading us to the current war and occupation in Iraq. Randy Scheunemann, PNAC/CLI neocon, is one of his principle foreign policy advisers, along with the Likudnik Joe Lieberman. Be very afraid!
