and it's the halo crap I simply cannot stand.

The one with Obama in front of the cross is okay. I understand, that's the venue, but doing the halo crap creeps me the fuck out.

8. Good shooters are always looking for framing devices for their compositions.
The Bush halo thing was SO overblown. You can see that kind of framing used a lot for anyone who frequently speaks on a dais in front of a logo of some kind. Using Obama's campaign logo to frame his head? Nice. A lot of the Bush "halo" pics were damn fine shots, too.
