1. Neither
But I still don't think it would work. Having Clinton on the ticket would totally undermine Obama's message of changing the way things work in Washington.

5. I'll all for it if it comes down to it, but I'm not convinced that it would work either

Plus, I think the media is pushing it a lot also because it just adds a new twist to the narrative. I admit, the voyeuristic side of me just wants it to happen to see how things will go, what drama will unfold.

6. If elected, it would create a dysfunctional administration
This spring the Clintons have demonstrated a marked capacity for never giving in. I can't imagine Obama's WH with one person wasting the tremendous resources of the Presidency by having to fight 2 vice-presidents each with Cheney-like self-interest in power for the OVP. Since 2000, we've relearned the notion that elections have consequences. I am not interested in that sort of consequence.

7. Cheney only has power because Bush has given it to him.
The duties, to say nothing of "powers," of the vice president are next to nil.

8. That's absolutely true, but I don't think I'd alter what I wrote one iota

An Obama-Clinton-Clinton administration would quickly, if not immediately, become dysfunctional due to a struggle for "meaningful participation."

11. If a president can't control a powerless vice president, then he or she
is not fit for office.
