Dallas Morning News:The Clinton dynasty's waning hours

Dallas Morning News:
Reports abound that tonight's the night Hillary Clinton will concede the inevitable, which is that the early-campaign Obama groundswell gave him an unsurpassable lead for the Dem nom. No hard feelings - it's just math.

But HRC would be less than human (some people say she is) were she not bitter that, after so many years of paying dues - to the party, to her husband's career, to a political apparatus that dictates what you have to endure if you want to stay in the game - she was so unceremoniously dethroned by a newer, younger, more charasmatic, more glamorous rookie.

Coupled with the unflattering-bordering-on-disturbing portrayal of Bill Clinton's post-presidential career published this week in Vanity Fair, it's turning out to be a sobering week for the Rodham-Clinton household.

It's the end of an era for earnest Clinton fans. Unless they're already printing up those Chelsea '16 bumper stickers.

5. There was never a "dynasty."
There was one president, and his spouse who was elected senator. This does not make a dynasty by any means. It was clear that after 2002 or so, the Clinton brand of Democratic politics took a definite back seat to a new progressive brand. There was no other way to fight back ideologically against the neo-conservative onslought - to go with the "third way" would have been Tony Blair-type politics, worse than capitulation: active collaboration with the neo-conservative ENEMY.

8. Mixed messages from the Clinton camp.
Some say she will concede, others say not.

Oh to be a fly on the wall in their headquarters...

10. all you obama folks jumping up and down saying the clinton
dynasty is over and are so happy happy about it.....maybe you should stop for a moment....your candidate cannot win if he does not get a majority from the clinton supporters....

keep on cutting the clintons down and come november yo man will have lost just like gore and kerry.

obama needs clinton and her supporters to even have a chance at winning in november.....

11. Okay, I stopped for a moment.
Now back to my previous mood:

:bounce:

Maybe someone else will kiss your ass and beg you to do the right thing. I don't give a flying fuck who you vote for. Stamp your feet and lecture us some more.
