Kerrys campaign train..

Someone had this pix as their sig file, and I thought it was pretty good:




...the rainbow is a nice touch, but the train itself is good.

Smart imagery considering how railroads and railroading are such a part of American folk culture...maybe folks dont ride them much nowadays, but the railroad is pretty much ingrained in the American pysche....look at our slang....("getting railroaded", "end of the line", etc)...and our music (old folktunes, and modern things too, like the Greatful Deads music).

For me this image sort of connects Kerry and his campaign to an American theme. ..not sure how concsious this is, but I see this alot...like his showing up at the Grand Canyon....

The starboard side flag looks like its getting tattered from the wind, and I'm not sure they are following proper protocol for displaying the U. S. Flag on a vehicle. It looks more like the good-'ol-boy method often seen on pick-up trucks.
