Obama will win. Oh yes, I truly believe that Obama will win the GE and my heart is full at the promise of it.

"Cultlike"? No. It's simply that he speaks to my ideals and I can perceive no dissonance, no falseness in it, and I'm extremely attuned to detecting that kind of falseness. So there you go -- tonight I envy US citizens that they've given themselves the chance to vote for Obama for highest office.

Congratulations to the USA

1. Yeah! Her concession speech was so classy and uniting... who would trash her?!?
Oh, yeah... :sarcasm:

6. I don't think her lack of class deserves any attention.
Her becoming irrelevant at this point will end it more than anything (she'd rather be hated than be irrelevant).

I think his grace and leadership spoke speaks volumes in of itself.

12. Well, it's a question of timing.

It's done, she lost - so it's not about her now, even as a candidate.

It's about a contest between Obama and McCain. Unless McCain dies of old age before November, or forgets his own name, or something else more or less likely.

I confess, as I listened to the 3 speeches tonight I noticed the body language of the three candidates at a visceral level. What was interesting was the difference in body language between Barack and Michelle, from that between Hillary, Bill and Chelsea. However, I don't wish to describe my impression of this difference at this time.

2. NO. This is the FINAL straw.

I won't get into it.

What she did tonight was a fucking disgrace.

I am still in shock.

So, yeah, fuck her. I'll trash her all I want.

4. She's classless
tacky, and deserves no praise nor the credit Obama gave her tonight. It's still all about the Clintons and their special little world where reality doesn't enter into the picture, nor does graciousness.

5. Nobody would be trashing her if she gave a gracious speech
Instead it was a replay of every speech we've heard after every other loss she's had. I am the winner under my own metric, and only my voters matter.

7. I understand what you're coming from...but
most of the people trashing Hillary are shocked by her behavior tonight, including myself.

I don't know if Obama is honest or not, but if he's lying, he's a damned good liar. And frankly, I'd rather have a good liar than a bad one for President.

9. McAuliffe introduced her as "the next President of the United States"
He did that AFTER Obama clinched the nomination. :eyes:

Every time Hillary and her staff have an opportunity to show some class or grace, they choose to say "f*ck you" instead. :(

10. I see no reason to trash Hillary either.
She's a fighter, most tenacious.

If Obama can harness that energy for
the good of America.. just imagine!

16. I don't understand. I'm seeing dozens of new names all with 1000+ posts
to their credit and none contributing anything at all positive, for Obama, for the Dems.
None showing ANY feeling of joy in Obama's accomplishment. All expressing unreasoning hatred and nothing else. Nothing else whatever.

11. She is now the enemy until she concedes, plain and simple.
We have a nominee, and until she concedes she is working to bring down that nominee. (I suspect that work will continue after she concedes, but I'm willing to cut her some slack for now)

People are just acknowledging the fact.
