I am sorry . I love the Clinton's and "you know" I would love to see her VP . However even though we all know Obama is the biggest target since RFK she shouldn't have said it .

Now please tell me honestly who here would appoint someone who has publicly acknowledged your chances of assassination as your VP . I have to say it's the only position I wouldn't offer her only because she would be the biggest benefactor from my demise

I think Hill can still make history by introducing Universal Health Coverage . This was the biggest thing they didn't achieve the first time out . This could be their gift too America and what a gift that would be .

Stupid...i.e., assuming she has a mind of her own. nt

3. I tend to agree, but there's a problem...

One of the biggest policy differences between Clinton and Obama -- there weren't that many -- was the mandate Clinton required, which I hated. There's something wrong with fining people who don't sign up for your healthcare plan.

They'd have to come up with some kind of compromise, and I'm worried about what that would be. Otherwise, she'd be hired to implement a plan she completely derided.

Also, I tend to doubt she would accept that position, or a position on the Supreme Court. Both positions tend to be out of the press limelight -- especially being on the court. Being out of the limelight just isn't what the Clintons are all about. I think they want back into the White House or nothing.

4. Folks just don't seem to get it
The Clintons, like the GOPukes, operate their campaigns on a "whatever it takes" basis. Like Rove, they see nothing wrong with the worst behavior, just so long as it ends up with their winning. That is what they learned in 92 and 96 and they seem sublimely indifferent to the idea that there should be limits.

HRC would have NO problem supporting all of Big O's programs as long as doing so led to a continuing political presence for her and Bill on the national/international scene. You and I might think that hypocritical and deceptive but to politicians like them it is just a natural part of the political life.

And so it goes.

I wouldn't mind seeing HRC in the VP slot. I just don't think she'd add anything to the chances of the team getting elected and we most assuredly do not need another Lieberman one step from the Oval Office.

10. She took her shot at Health Coverage
when she was 1st lady. She can't get this through congress. She doesn't play well with others.
