We are not going to win this election by abandoning HRC supporters - if anything we need them now more than ever. Now I read that a longtime DUer and all-around great guy Deep13 is thinking of leaving DU. He's an HRC supporter who feels that we are treating the HRC supporters like shit and personally - I can't blame him.

This primary season is done. Obama is the presumptive nominee. Time for us to mend the wounds and reach out to each other and bring unity back to this party. The enemy is not Hillary Clinton - it's John McCain and the republican party.

And Deep13 if you read this - please stay. Anyone who treats you like shit or calls you a liar should be alerted upon. You're too good of a person to be treated like this!

and if you read the thread it's about one supporter who feels he (along with other HRC supporters) are being treated like shit. We should hold ourselves to higher standards than that.

I've alerted at least 20 a DAY for the last few weeks for the same infractions: no effect.

If you're doing 20 a day imagine how many other alerts they are getting.

NOT ONE was taken care of. Most were from Obama supporters, 21 contained the word "WHORE," 35 contained the word "BITCH."

Many others had equal or worse characterizations.

I'm sorry, but personal bias is the perception lately. I got suspended for RACISM for using a "Fight Club" based analogy about excrement in the clam chowder a while back.

As topsy turvy as things may be, it's not just happening to Deep13. When to suggest that some are massholes, as a for instance, will only bring more derision in that that is considered a compliment i.e. shitheads know thier being shitheads, they take pride in it and seek validation through such activity in the shocked looks of pain they scatter across the faces of others. High grade or low grade; it's a form of sickness.

It is time to end it all. Some would do better to come out from under their tawdry little ignore feature, and reenter the land of the living.

I have never picked on any individual HRC supporter unless I was attacked first.

As for Deep 13's post, I can't say for sure what it means, but by the use of word "liar" I assume it's at least possible that Deep 13 might vote for McCain. If so, I won't miss him.

Whatever the case, Hillary voted for Bush's war, refused to admit it was a mistake, told stupid lie after stupid lie that were all embarrassing even by Republican standards, mentioned assassination and then hid behind a great American's brain cancer during her pathetic spin attempt.
