We helped carry Yellowstone County, MT!!! (by 614 votes)
We knew it would be close here in Billings, but all that door knocking paid off!

On the other hand - We thank Bozeman, Missoula, Kalispell, Great Falls for going heavily for Obama - and the rest of Montana for a great Obama win MONTANA!!!
Clinton squeaked out a win in Butte, but it was close.

Gobama!!!

20. Didn't participate in the actual counting this time around, so I don't know
Have relatives visiting. Went to vote then we went on a picnic and enjoyed Montana sans politics for a few hours. Tried to get the official county by county totals from Sec of State site this AM but it wasn't up to date yet.

Almost all GOP here, but I know a few voted the DEM ballot instead this time around. They are NOT happy with the GOP choices and I am hearing positive things about Obama from several.

Happy Brian is in for another Fall romp too. :woohoo:

21. OK County results are up
Hillary by 3 votes. Amazingly, 1/3 of total cast for presidential primary went to DEM candidates. This in a county where us registered DEMS can meet in a compact car.

Amazing, actually. This place is not known for diversity.

6. Congrats - Obama's ground game has been incredibly impressive
He's clearly not going to win every state, but he's going to make McCain have to earn them by spending cash and resources otherwise earmarked to the battleground states.

7. Dad told me Bill couldn't even fill the high school gym in Helena
That's kind of sad, really. He also said Bill kept them all waiting almost three hours. That's really rude.

10. I recall Teddy kept us waiting in the State Capital in 1980, but he had a damned good excuse
HE stopped to pay a hospital visit to Julian Bond that day. Bond had just been injured in shooting.

Let me tell ya, Teddy was worth waiting for that day. (were ya there, Steph?)

Bill in 2008? Probably not so much and probably not such a valid reason for keeping people waiting.

Unless he's getting a $200K speaking fee for it.
