Obama's mama (with pictures)

When our next President referred to "brothers and sisters" last night, I got what he meant--but I wondered if he had any himself (no siblings, but he has a half-sister from when his mother remarried).

And I found the following pictures of the parent who raised him, Ann Dunham:

in him and that he must look like his father (who's photo I've seen but can't quite remember). But no, it's definitely his grandfather.

I also like how she watches him ... both enjoying his joy and (when needed) keeping him centered. Their body language speaks volumes to their partnership and mutual respect. It appears to be a VERY healthy relationship.

She still lives in Hawaii, but she can't travel.
