Isn't Friday the worst possible day of the week for Hillary to endorse Obama ?

Everything I've ever learned about the news cylce says that if you want to minimize a story you do it on a Friday. Just more evidence her support of him is gonna be half-hearted at best.

Um, it could be because Friday is the last day of the work week and then she wants to wrap it up and go be with her family.

Then again, you couldn't believe something that simple and normal. She must be trying to fool everybody. Into what, I don't know. But if she does it, it must be bad.

Hillary was gearing up to fight, but her supporters finally got her to back down. They gave her until Friday.

In a way, though not deliberately on her part, this should work out better for Obama:

He got a positive "historic" news cycle from winning. He will get another positive cycle from Hillary's endorsement.

During that time, the spotlight is still off of McCain, even though the Primaries are finally over.

I've already created a post that suggested that, if Hillary didn't do something within the week, the party, the media, and I (granted, that last one is not the biggest threat) would come down on her like a ton of bricks.

I'm sure that's exactly what she found out today. Unless there is some change in the agenda now, it would be good not to vent on Hillary. She has been defanged and is about to become an ally, even if it's grudgingly. It's also looking as if her VP bid has been thrown overboard.

Just as Hillary has to overcome her difficulties in admitting she lost, Obama supporters have to overcome difficulties in considering her the enemy. The enemy is now McCain. Let's focus.
