21. Really. Ants are industrious brothers and sisters and we need to learn from them. Picnics without
yellowjackets, rattlesnakes and poison oak.

27. That's a bit of an indiscriminate stretch, don't you think? Like saying
all homo are chimps. Chimps are distinctly NOT progressive. Wasps are distinctly NOT ants. Except on Rigel-3.

34. I think we're communicating.
Edited on Thu Jun-05-08 12:51 AM by The Village Idiot
Ants and wasps are in the same Superfamily ( Vespoidea). However, Ants and wasps are in different Families. Ants (Formicidae) and Yellowjackets (Vespidae).

Apes, chimps and humans are not only in the same Superfamily (Hominoidea), but also in the same Family (Hominidae), and even the same Subfamily (Homininae).

Don't you agree that it would be AT LEAST as accurate to say all humans are chimps as it is to say all wasps are ants? Which is to say, not all that accurate insofar as how chimps have determined they will classify living things.

This was fun. I appreciate your willingness to engage a decrepit chimp with a brain as old as geese farts wafting on a late summer breeze.

35. I'd like to teach the world to sing - in perfect harmony.
I'd like to hold it in my arms and keep it company
I'd like to see the world for once
All standing hand in hand
And hear them echo through the hills "Ah, peace throughout the land"

I'd like to teach the world to sing
In perfect harmony
Id like to build the world a home
And furnish it with love
Grow apple trees and honey bees and snow-white turtle doves
