Just Got Finished Watching Recount
I have to say, watching that special on Showtime got me angry all over again about that BS 2000 election. It reminded me more about how we can't take anything for granted and Obama is not the President...until he's REALLY the President. It showed to me how we can't pin our hopes on one state (Ohio or Florida). That is a MSM narrative thats meant to build up ratings.

...about Obama's chances at winning the presidency if we could rely on reasonably fair, open, and honest elections -- the fact is, we can't. We've seen two consecutive stolen presidential elections and who know how many midterm thefts since 2000.

This problem is not going away between now and November. I'm afraid Obama will have to have landslide polling data showing him to rout McCain going into November or we'll see yet a third consecutive stolen presidential election.

3. I bought Jeff Toobin's book on the Florida mess 5 years ago - too painful to read it.
It gathers dust.

6. I must have tried to watch "Recount" at least 15 times. Couldn't do it...
too painful. And, I was looking forward to seeing it.

PS: I think it was on HBO, not Showtime.
