FULL AMNETY

Ladies and gentlemen:

I have come to a decision which I felt I should tell you and all of my fellow DU members, as soon as I was certain in my own mind and in my own conscience that it is the right thing to do.

I have learned in this forum that the difficult decisions always come to the moderators. I must admit that many of their decisions have exhibited far more wisdom than some of the snarks and potshots that I and others have posted impulsively and perhaps too fast on previous occasions. I did not understand the purpose of "ignore" until the primaries began, but I soon found it's use to be the only way to retain my sanity during these turbulent times. I now have come to the conclusion that it has out lived it's usefulness as we move into a new phase and begin our fight for victory in November.

Now, therefore, I, Corkhead, Democratic Underground member, pursuant to the pardon power conferred upon me by Skinner,EarlG, and Elad, have granted and by these presents do grant a full, free, and absolute pardon unto my ignore list for all offenses against my sensibilities which all of my ignorees committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 3, 2008, through June 5th 2008.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this fifth day of June, in the year of our Lord two thousand and eight, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty third.

And to the 46 members of my list who are no longer with us because they disrupted poorly, I am sorry I do not have the authority to vanquish your granite cookie, but I hope you have been able to come to terms with the error of your ways and will join us in our cause, albeit from the outside. (or at least with a lot more ads):D
