Voter reg is up, nicely. Senator Launtenberg just beat Rep Andrews in the Dem primary by something like 20-30%. Andrews is a conservative Dem whose base was in south jersey. The Democratic wing of the Democratic Party turned out bigtime.

I donated money earlier today.And I also plan on volunteering locally not only for Obama but also for the local democratic candidates.We have Kay Hagan going up againsy Liddy Dole for the US Senate - Dole has go to go!

I am so fired up and ready to go.Whatever they need me to do I am going to do it.I can't wait to meet so many new people.

Even though I think Washington state is good to go I'm going to campaign here.

I live in one of the most liberal cities in the US, so I'll have to go to the outlying area to truly help.

She just eighteen and her first vote in the primaries was for Obama. She's very political and a great debater!

i plan to go to indiana, too. in fact, i am sending an entry to an artist call for a place in indiana, just so i can twist some arms if i am chosen. went to indianapolis before the primary, and it was pretty amazing.
but everyone can make phone calls. and canvas you own neighborhood now, so that you can get the volunteers signed up.

Already set up to do phone banking and voter registration.

I work a really weird schedule so I might not be able to go out much to do things, but I can work the phones like nobody's business!

Plan to do much, much more in the months to come!

I will donate and volunteer. Do I think McSame will somehow beat him? Yes, but this is likely more due to depression than anything logical. Who can blame me after the last 7 years. In any case, I am checking in as an active participant in getting Michelle elected as First Lady - does that idea not kick eternal ass?

Seriously, I've stayed out of volunteering so long because Wa. has gone D for so long, what's the point? Any input on how I can help out Obama elsewhere in the country would be appreciated.

I would guess Nevada but depending on your travel range there are tons of places to help out

Not sure how much help he'll need in NoCal, but I'll definitely do out-of-state phone-banking like I did in 04 and 08.

I got four of my friends to register at Obama's site. We're all going to donate what we can but we agree that more of an effort is needed from each of us this time. I don't know how I am going to help but I'm definitley not sitting back and watching others do all the work this election.

I've been donating money to his campaign monthly since January, knocked on doors and made calls in Feb (Wisconsin Primary).

I'm definitely going to continue to do all that I can. I recommend it for everyone that feels inspired this season, it's really empowering :)

I was working 3-4 days a week at the HQ but with kids home from school, I'll be working visibility events helping to register many new voters. I plan to be backat HQ in the fall.

WE're also holding an Obama garagesale to raise funds to buy bumperstickers, pins ect.

here in colorado. phone calling scares the hell out of me - i did that as a 14 yo on the dukakis campaign, but i don't mind going door to door or maybe something even quieter, like stuffing envelopes. also, we give when we can. today, i signed up to be a matching donor.

I'll be volunteering in this campaign.

I just don't have the gift of gab required for canvassing (tried it once, hated it), nor do I like cold calling people.

I'd like to help somehow though...

Which is one of the dark blue areas on the eastern corner of the primary map in Oregon. A group of us are getting ready now for the GE and have many more people who want to help. We found that in some of the small towns around us that many of the older population do not have access to computers and didn't know where Obama stood on the issue's (the "news" channels were too busy with the smears to actually inform). We have certain issue's that our important to people in our area so we will stock up on handouts from Obama's web site and have them with us or in the car and if someone has a question we will get that info to them. We did some of that during the primary and because there were so many undecided voters they really appreciated the information. Because we are volunteers we didn't want to fork out all the money for printing, ink, paper and the few other supplies needed so we had a jar that some people that couldn't canvass would contribute small change but it added up. One of our volunteers was trained to enter data and cut precinct turfs and she got very good with it with input from Eastern Oregon's only paid Obama staff (for the first part) Lou Leonard. He did a great job at encouraging all of us and had faith that we could do it and we did! It worked better than we could ever imagine. What a great cause and it is for just a small part of our life to put in this time that may help our whole country!!!

I'm a registered lobbyist. I'll give to Senate and House campaigns, have an Obama bumper sticker and lawn sign, volunteer to help out at the local office, etc.

Anything I can do to help... I'll do it!
