2. None of the above.
They need to either remain in the Senate, replace a Republican dinosaur in the Senate and stay as Governor.

We need someone not serving who can attract southern white male votes. We need not lose any senators or governors.

3. I think Webb. I would rather Warner win what would be a sure senate seat
I don't know much about the Governor. But Webb with his background would make the best choice of the three to run with Obama I believe.

5. Webb's stock is falling, Warner's stock is rising
and I think that trend will continue. Webb will be viewed as anti-feminist if he is chosen, but he has the biggest upside. Warner has the fewest negatives and might be the safest choice, but may not have enough upside. If the Appalachia area becomes in play, then Webb's stock will rise again.

6. If Webb were chosen and Obama/Webb won would the governor choose Webb's successor?
would there be a special election or could this person serve until the next election in 2010?

12. 29 years ago
And his record since levels any hint of sexism hurled his way. It's an empty charge, and unfairly denies the numerous and considerable strengths he has going for him.

There is no such thing as a perfect candidate. Webb's strengths outweigh just about every other choice, and his weaknesses, if you count a 29 year old article about Naval Academy culture and gender roles in combat, are very few and very, very old.
