I have to say, I would have supported her in November if she had won, and if she had sounded as good as she did today.

Second time I've posted this, but it's important to me. She was always with "us Dems" - it was just YOUR candidate that she opposed. But she's been a loyal Dem for 40 years. That didn't change just because she stood in opposition to the candidate you preferred.

16. A perfect concession speech is delivered graciously on the evening of victory
and is traditionally done after a phone call from the loser congratulating the winner. The protocol for a perfect concession speech has a gracious statement of support for the winner. The winner allows the loser to have that last moment in the spotlight, then the winner makes a gracious speech heading for unity.

That is how it is done. This was nothing close to that, so nobody could ever call this the perfect concession speech.

For a speech given 5 days after the race was mathematically over, by a loser who had to be dragged to the podium kicking and screaming, it was a damn fine speech, and I appreciate that she gave it.

The race is over. Yes, I understand that according to Clitonesque, meaning of the word "is" logic, it isn't technically over until the vote is taken at the convention.
