Tell Bush to Condemn Swift Boat Ad: sign MoveOn Petition today!

YOUR PETITION LETTER

TO: President Bush
FROM: (Your Name and Email)
SUBJECT: Condemn Ad that Slanders Kerry

Dear President Bush:

As you know, some of your current donors are running a deceptive and dishonest ad that attacks John Kerry’s war record.

Presidential politics has no place for this kind of smear campaign. As Senator McCain has suggested, please publicly condemn this false advertising and reject these tactics.

Sincerely,

(your name)
(your address)

3. That's true but we have a participatory government
And even though we dis-like the guy, he should still hear from us no matter what. When I write my Senators, I don't just write to Durbin, I also write to Fitzgerald even though he's stepping down and soon Barack Obama will have his seat. The GOP has to hear from us repeatedly, its the same tactic that they use. If you repeat it long enough it will stick.

4. He won't condemn it
Smearing Kerry is all they have left.

The economy is in the shitter.

Our foreign affairs are in the shitter.

We're losing the war in Iraq, and as for the war on terrorism...we spent billions of dollars to catch three terrorists because we are trying to fight terror like it was a conventional war. YOU FIGHT TERRORISM BY FOLLOWING THE MONEY TRAIL!

If the press ever lets the public know that a very large part of the Bush family fortune comes from bankrolling Adolf Hitler, the Bushes really will become the idle rich--because no one in their right mind will hire them, continue to employ them or vote for them.

So he has Kerry Smears to run on. What the hell else is he gonna do--say he's a little bit better than Herbert Hoover?
