Our greatest challenge - is it possible to move voters from cynicism to optimism?
That is essentially the trajectory of Hope & Change - a rejection of past disappointments and a belief in new opportunities.

Being hopeful and optimistic is in itself a large challenge in the uber-cynical, snide, me-first, world we exist in.

Can you make a difference? Can I? Could we both together?

5. Optimism? Haven't you heard? The human race is doomed to extinction.
Upon further consideration, that would be very good for the planet.

Yes, by golly! I AM optimistic!

7. What about the Epicureans? Won't somebody, for God's sake, think of the poor Epicureans?
Their gods have forsaken them!

8. I'm very much of an admirer of the Epucureans. The Latte Liberals of their day.

But, the cynics were troublemakers with bad attitudes, which more fits my personality.

9. I don't know. Seems to me Mr. Spock was an Epicurean.
Hard to imagine him drinking lattes at the local Starbucks.

If this method of spreading 'Hope' continues into the general, God help us.
