40,000 troops are NOT for Iraq but to releive the reservist and and end the back door draft. He wants to improve the military to attrack more full time military personel

My son who is 19 asked me why they could not have a "soldier fund" anyone who did not serve in the military would pay one dollar $1.00 per month after age 18. If you serve you never pay it, if you don't, it adds up to $744.00 if you pay it from the time you are 18 to age 80. That is 744.00 for a life time of no military service. It can only be used to spend on the military LIVES of our soldiers and their families. I thought it was a pretty good idea coming from a 19 year old who by the way is intending to go to officers training when he graduates from college. Any comment welcomed, he asked me to post his idea.
