8. what i dont get is why some people seem to equate supporting obama with not supporting hillary...
their in the same damn party, she is supporting him, and both their platforms are pretty darn close. Noone is asking hillary supporters to stop supporting hillary. But supporting the democratic nominee would be a good idea, no?

13. Consider that the majority of us have always said we would support Obama if he was chosen.
It's insulting and tiresome to keep seeing thread after thread demanding that Hillary supporters must support Obama when we already do.

Just fucking stop it.

3. The vast majority of them will.
They are intelligent, politically involved people. They know what the alternative is.

5. Didn't you hear? WE NEED TO SUPPORT OBAMA.
Not just vote for him. That's not enough.

I have to ask, were the tables turned, and there were twenty threads an hour demanding that Obama supporters MUST SUPPORT CLINTON, exactly what we'd be seeing.

16. And Obama has said his supporters need to be nice to Clinton's supporters.
And he's praised Clinton.

A lot of his supporters here don't seem to have gotten that message.

I've ever seen supporters of any Democratic presumptive nominee so determined to alienate the supporters of other Democratic candidates -- and in this case many Obama supporters seem desperate to alienate the supporters of the candidate who got approximately as many votes as he did.

Very foolish. Very counterproductive.

17. As has been pointed out, there is a similarity
between his supporters and Bush supporters (NOT ON POLICY) in 2000. They won! But they are angry, and some are getting angrier. Not to mention other similarities like the constant picture threads (I just about started laughing out loud when one showed up today with Obama on a bicycle!) and the one a couple of weeks ago that was a freakin' prayer thread.
