MCCURRY CONSIDERS JOINING KERRY CAMPAIGN; EX-CLINTON PRESS SEC OFFERED A TOP POSITION, SAY SOURCES

I hope this develops. I really like Mike McCurry's style.

It's a Drudge item, but probably quite reliable for what it narrowly says. (Don't click if you don't want to, but you ought to have the option: http://www.drudgereport.com/)

6. I don't think so. Maybe said the obvious about the oval office
indiscretion, but otherwise he has been very good. I enjoy listening to him.

8. He made a statement about thew lewinsky scandal he shouldn;t have
but he was still Press Secretary at the time. -- something about people will be embarrassed.

My favorite Mcurry was when he made some statement about the GOP and their wishjes for Seniors to just die and not cost any more tax dollars -- needless to say this outraged the GOP.

Cheney made a statement that he never wanted to be in the same room with McCurry.

McCurry's response?

Never be in a room with Dick Cheney? OK!

2. yayyyyy!
The best thing is that the press likes McCurry. He never did work them over like Ari and Fleischer do. He has credibility. This is a major plus.

3. I remember Mike McCurry and I wasn't into politics, Yet.
I saw an interview where he was saying something about he just didn't have it anymore to keep defending Clinton on the Monica thing.

Who can blame him?

I'm sure he's refreshed now and eager to talk about real subjects.

5. Mike McCurry is a sold out whore , i don't trust him,
maybe he learned in the last few years that what clinton did was really not a big thing that the right wing and himself later tried to make it out to be.

especially when compared to the disaster brought on by the prick in office now.

9. Yes it was a small thing
but still indefensible, I know that is something that no matter how much I love the Big Dog I cannot and will not defend him on.

7. Wrong
He was critical of Clinton when he was involved in another presidential campaign in 1992. It's in Clinton's book.

I've seen him on numerous shows defending Clinton after his time at the WH.

10. I predicted last week
that the JK camp would bring in some "old hands" to replace the unprepared riff-raff that they've been sending out on the talk show circuit.
