Obama Surges Ahead!
Obama Surges Ahead!

You're not likely to hear this in the corporate media, but as of yesterday Obama has taken a massive lead on McCain in the one area that truly matters.

The Electoral College (via Electoral-Vote.com)

After finally moving ahead in Michigan, and following some corrections on Indiana, Barack Obama is turning five former Red States Blue and now has a 304 to 221 Electoral Vote Lead over John McCain.

8. Is that saying that NC is a tie? How does that change the D/R/Tied rate?

12. That is so sweet, I would love to know how yesterday's 'it doesn't matter how long
our soldiers are in Iraq' will change that even further. I know of a fierce coalition of spouses working the Ft. Bragg area to get candidates in who are going to do right by the military.

20. yep - that comment is going to matter - I hope as much as we want it too!
that's a pretty big statement by McSame.

I'm making a video with that comment in it, and using a couple of other clips of his interview where he mentioned he was for the confederate flag only for ambition, and not because he believed it to be right, and knew it was a symbol of hate - what an ass!

youtube.com/password is my channel, I'll have it up later tonight.

24. it's nothing like my Obama If You Believe video or others where I take a few hours
It's just two clips fused together, but I find them, being put together, really helps show him to be a callous, lying, do-anything to get in office warmonger, who really doesn't care about Americans. But, I'm happy to upload it and have it seen by people.

it's funny - there's SO much to put on video about him - yet, we have to choose, because most people's attention span is really just 2 minutes or so. I've seen 7-10 minute videos showing all his comments intertwined with other people asking him questions and him saying a bunch of other stuff until he gets to the comment we're waiting to hear that shows he's an arse, but most people won't watch that long of a video.

Maybe someone will chop down his comments to 5-10 clips and put them all together. I might do that over the summer, as I'm sure there will be more gaffes by then. But we do need to keep hammering him until then, and (cough) SAVE AMERICA! :)

take care...

(the fusing of the two clips is done, it's uploading now. It's Olbermann's intro about the 'not too important' story, and his interview where he says he said he waffled, just for ambition, even though the rebel flag was a racist symbol)

25. Hello, I think I love you A) SAVE AMERICA B) Your avatar C) Olbermann
I agree, it's how the Republicans made their point; find one issue and coordinate it with everyone involved as 'the message'.

A happy note; your comment about our base (above) is true about more than just the base moderate Republicans are watching and waiting for someone to fix this mess.

4. I'll say it along with many others on here -
The GOP is nearly dead - but we must finish them off by answering the lies quickly on the net, with friends, and coworkers. I believe we can get a 57-59 seat senate majority where, a few moderate GOP senators will join on frequently in pressing matters, even if Obama didn't win, to ensure a 60 vote veto proof majority. Hopefully though, this holds up, and Obama wins as shown in the electoral-vote.com graph. Thanks for linking!

14. that's great news indeed
they show WI today as solid light blue, instead of leaning blue yesterday. I am shocked polling doesn't show it as solid dark blue like MN! I realize there's a lot of people out in the country that still support the GOP, and will until they lose their homes, lose a kid or two in a war, and have no health care and spend most of their money on gas to get to work to pay for overpriced food & necessities - and then go - "but, I thought you cared for my family!"

and Misouri and Virginia could still go either way and need reinforcement.

definately considering getting together some activists here in Nor Cal to take the 3 hr drive over to the Reno and Carson areas for some voter registration.

13. Sweet!
The dems are going to kill the thug party this fall!

This will be a realigning election. The f'in republicans that survive will not be able to stop President Obama and the progressive left. I just hope there is enough time to save America from the massive damage from 12 years of republican fascist control.

The American people have had a bellyfull of Reagan/Bush anti-american horse-shit!

This revolution will be televised! :)

16. I know, and agree about 'ttime left'
because Kerry should have been president in 04 to start correcting the BS that Lil Boots had destroyed, but SOMEHOW he got in again, and now, it will really be by the skin of the teeth that we can come out of this without a true DEPRESSION - I seriously hope that it doesn't happen, but all signs point to it - first thing Obama does, orders the complete withdrawal of fighting forces in Iraq and set up talks with Iran. This should help ease oil prices, esp. when we won't be using millions of barrels a week fighting enemies we create.

22. I wonder too if we will escape the Great Republican Depression
Its gonna be close. If Sen. Obama does what you say it would prolly burst the republican neocon oil bubble.

Then we can drive full speed ahead into hybrids and full electric vehicles, mass transit, wind, solar, all green techs.

The republican luddites have held this country back way to long!
