MediaCurves Focus Groups
Have any of you heard of MediaCurves? It's a communications research company uses focus groups to provide insight into how campaign videos, speeches, ads are impacting voters. The focus groups view a video of the popular or controversial event and move their mouse back and forth on a scale which for example may indicate the participant’s believability or agreement with the video. It's the same type of thing that CNN does during the debates with their online videos.

A guy from MediaCurves was on on XM's POTUS channel the other day. He said they recently did a survey using 3 photos of John McCain -- one was a casual look from the campaign stump, one wearing a Navy hat, and one wearing a suit, to see how voters responded to the photos (participants did not respond well to the "campaign stump" photo). They plan to do the same with Obama in the next week or two.

Obama's economic speech from Monday got very good reviews from all parties, particularly Repubs and Independents (he was already very high with Dems). http://www.mediacurves.com/
