Cute story about Dean and his flag pin.
That's My Flag Pin, Too, Says Dean

Howard Dean, the outspoken Democratic Party boss, doesn't want to talk about why Sen. Barack Obama does or doesn't wear an American flag pin. "The discussion is silly," he offers. But he does like to say why he sports a wavy flag pin on his lapel. "I will tell you why I wear a flag pin and why I have since I took this job. I want to remind the Republican Party that they do not own the flag," he says. "We all own this flag."

Yes, it is a silly discussion.

1. That's right..you can wear it or you can choose not to..
Something I read on DU years ago made an impression..some poster said after 9/11 that he wishes the hippies(nothing against hippies) hadn't started burning the Flags 'cause it's our Flag too.

The republicans do not own it. Time for Dean, Obama, and all the Dems who are going to be helping in our Democratic Administration to get that straightened out.

2. Why doesn't anyone ask McCain about his lack of a flag pin?

3. Probably no one even noticed. It's just Democrats who need to wear one, you know.

5. Usually too far ahead of the curve.
Before many are ready for the blunt truth.

Our media has dumbed down this country until unvarnished truth scares people.
