21. Yes.
If a Hillary Nutcracker doll is acceptable, and the Teddy Bear - then why not a monkey doll? They seriously don't get it because they are completely oblivious to what minorities have faced in this country. That's why they're fond of saying "I never owned any slaves".

I read the headline as: "The 'Sock Obama' *was* canceled" and not "Obama canceled the sock".

18. I don't think they were implying anything.
If you read the subject line in a certain way, it could come off like that, but in this case, the missing words are implied: "The Sock Obama (toy) (has been) canceled."
