Is it safe to say that Barack is in his right mind to support the left?

So were Bush Daddy, Clinton, and Ross Perot. What are the odds, eh?

The lefty rate at my workplace (informal poll) is near 40%, myself included.

and so was Bob Dole, Ross Perot, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush. It is incredible that recently we've had a lot of lefthanders in Presidential politics (I am a lefthander, too with all the scars in my knuckles from being hit repeteadly by my teachers(nuns) to change me to a righty)

I've seen him signing autographs righthanded.

By the way, I'm lefthanded as well.

it's more true that left handed (men) tend to distribute tasks across both hemispheres more than right handed men. But it's a statistical truism, and I believe only true in 50% of cases anyway, IIRC.

When my oldest wanted to learn guitar, I told him to at least try to play right-handed so he could pick up any guitar and play, and he wouldn't be tied to playing ONLY his own guitar. He is a wonderful guitarist! He plays right-handed, and uses both hands for most everything except writing.

My youngest, also a lefty, showed signs of using both hands in Kindergarten. While the teacher was trying to force her to "make a decision" I was encouraging her to use both hands as she saw fit. It was a struggle! With the teachers, not with my daughter. Thankfully, she is pretty much ambidextrous as an adult. There are just a few things that she has a preferred hand for... most things she can do with both. She also plays guitar... right handed.
