Harriet Christian ("inadequate black male" lady) meets her hero!

Republican presidential candidate John McCain and former second-class citizen Harriet Christian (yes, that Harriet Christian) really hit it off Saturday at St. McSame’s PUMA Panderpalooza, even though she couldn’t find out where the “convention” was being held. According to one first-hand account: “John McCain knew who Harriet was and was very happy to see her and she him.” One can only hope they discussed how McCain’s opponent Barack Obama is an “inadequate black male” and how painful it is to be thrown down the tubes.

More pics from St. McSame’s PUMA Panderpalooza can be viewed here.

BONUS: Here’s some footage of Harriet losing her shit at the tail-end of the RBC conference before the infamous video of her in the lobby was recorded. You’ll notice she wasn’t really thrown out, as has been widely reported. She left on her own.

1. she was obviously never a supporter of Hillary Clinton
Just a Republican shill trying to stir the pot at the RBC meeting. Nothing more.

3. That's not obvious.
It's obvious she's a loser and a racist. But, as we've discovered, there are plenty of democrats who fit that description.

Harriet Christian wouldn't know what feminism is if it bit her on her racist butt. :grr:

6. She donated to the Clinton campaign back in the first quarter of the year
For a Republican shill, she is amazingly prescient. She gave that donation knowing that there would be an RBC months in the future. :eyes:

Which is odd, because you'd think that's where the huffingtonpost one would get its info.

But fundrace doesn't list all my contributions either.

However, there were a bunch of donors with my last name (Almost all in New England) and they spanned the political spectrum, but way too many for McCain, et al.

which surprises me because all of my donations were small. My guess is the FEC site doesn't list me since I've never made a single donation over $200.

13. Yeah, because he's a bigot in his own right...and he hates women.
Don't believe me. Look at his record. He voted against MLK Jr. day TWICE and against condemnation of South African apartheid, he and his buddy, Cheney BOTH. Then, he votes against equal pay for equal work and a long list of women's issues.

He's pathetic!! He and Harriet deserve each other. :puke:

11. People like Harry-it remind me of Edwards words
Early in the primary John Edwards stated that if someone was going to vote for him simply because they refused to vote for a black man, then he (Edwards) didn't want their vote. I deeply admired him at the time that he made that statement, and it became a stark contrast to the primaries after SC. :(

The legacy of a political figure, it is what they create. Some do well, others...not so much.

21. My post was meant to examine the juxtaposition
of Edwards' classy words and actions to that of Senator Clinton--and the nasty consequences of the tact that Clinton chose. I propose that people like Harry-It might not be voting for McCain if a certain Democrat (particularly the spouse of "the first black president") hadn't given "permission" to allow the inner bigot of some voters to come out and play.

22. McCain said something similar
A few months ago, McCain said it would bother him a lot if some of his votes came from people who were too racist to vote for a black man. But it doesn't seem to bother him too much, or he wouldn't go out of his way to take a picture with just such a voter. I don't think McCain is racist (he has a black daughter, after all), but obviously he is not above using racial tensions to gain votes. Kind of sad...you may laugh, but I actually expected more from him, because he has been the victim of racist campaign tactics himself.

From Manhattan and sooooo concerned about the voters of Michigan. It's just undemocratic to allow Obama supporters in Michigan to have a voice.

Oh yeah I loved that one too, Obama wouldn't even be running if he wasn't running against a woman. Because there's no way he could have beaten a white male like Edwards, Dodd, Biden, Kucinich or Gravel, much less a Mexican-American like Richardson. He only ran because his victory over an unknown like Hillary was virtually assured.

Upthread I linked to the donation she made to Clinton several months ago. The sad fact is that there remain a lot of DINOs/Reagan Dems/Dixiecrats whatever you want to call 'em in this country, and they're not all in the South.
