I received this suggested script in an e-mail: I'm calling to tell Speaker Pelosi I am depending on her to pull any bill from the floor that will ulimately grant immunity to telecommunications companies who illegally spied on Americans. Can I count on Speaker Pelosi to stand up to President Bush?

Feel free to tweek the above, or use your own words. However, Pelosi does have the power to pull the bill from the floor, and that's why we should concentrate on her.

but I'll take it as a good sign. Last night on Keith, Jonathan Turley said that the Dems have tried several times to capitulate(his words), but the public keeps stopping them. They're trying again now, IMHO, because it's the summer and they think no one's paying attention. Let's show them they're wrong.

Shame on you Nancy Pelosi and the other 107 Democrats who took it upon themselves to " compromise" on our constitution. Shame on you all- you are a disgrace.
