14. I've bookmarked this thread, something I rarely do. You just go on and vote for Nader
and when SCOTUS overturns what my mother and I marched in the streets for, I'll come back to it.

BTW, BAH pointed out to you that Obama has very publicly opposed it and I don't see a response from you on this thread or that one, but I see you've responded in this thread again.

Our leadership was against spying on Americans before they were for it.

18. Good, finally they got it thru'. It was well worth taking impeachment off the table
so they could work their butts off on important stuff like this.

Pelosi, Reid and crew have done so much since they took impeachment off the table. I sure hope they can get even more of Bush's historically important work done before Jan. 20, 12 noon. The 2006 elections made a massive difference - before 2006 the Republicans took *all* the credit for moving the US into the 21st century. Now the american people can see how this work is shared in a truly bipartisan way, with Lieberman, Pelosi, Reid, and the DLC in general proving to be voices for the same kind of visionary leadership previously only heard from the likes of Cheney, Gonzales, and Bush.

Way to go, Dems!

24. This Bites
Bush has approvol In the 20's and yet they give him what he wants.Bad enough they keep giving him
the money he wants for his wars but this Is pathetic.Democrats should not be giving Bush what he
wants.I guantee you If Obama Is president In 2009 Republicans will not give him all that he wants.
Tell Me again why we tolerate Lieberman. In the House at least they have some hearings against Bush what have we accomplished In the senate?Would things be any different If Liberman openly was a
Republican and It was 50 50? I think not.
