Who is the BFEE front-man going to be?
It's doubtful that McCain is going to be the actual candidate come September. He's just in place now as a marker while the BFEE strategizes. (I use the term BFEE loosely. The Bush family is a significant part of this coalition, but whether particular members are players or front men is up for discussion. Let's just let BFEE stand for the group that selected George Bush as President and maneuvered us into this war.)

So, what are the possibilities? The family name is probably too tainted to run Jeb Bush. Is Romney a suitable front man, or does he represent a group with its own agenda? Who is the Golden Child who will be produced at the last minute in an effort to plausibly defeat Obama in a close election? Who will Cheney choose?

1. Romney did have Jeb & Poppy backing him for a while
And his BAIN Capital group has partnered up with the Bush Crime Family's Carlyle Group on more than one occasion. He seems the most likely choice. Probably will be introduced as Grandpa's running mate, and then possibly take over.

Biggest drawback, of course is Mormonism. Will the religious reich vote for someone who they consider to be a worshipper of a "false God"?

On the other hand, the Bush Crime Family might just sit this one out like they did 1996.

Not because they're worried about Chimpy trashing the family name. But because the Bush Crime family likes to drain the Treasury and divert the money to all of their corporatist friends. Romney would be on board with this agenda, but thanks to the Chimp, there's no money left.

They have to let someone else restore the economy so they can rape it again. I don't think the Bush Crime Family is going to be at all upset about losing this election.

3. If you are right and they change the nominee it will mean that they have given up on 2008
and are positioning for 2012. You can bait and switch and hope to win.

4. I'll take that action. What do you want to bet McCain won't be on the ballot in Nov?
Your assumption is ridiculous. No one short of the Grim Reaper is gonna drive a wedge between John McCain and the Republican nomination.

7. An ultra right-wing woman hater like Jindal would drive McCain's independents
Obama's way. Not even Palin on the ticket would help him.

6. I'm 99 percent certain that McCain will NOT drop out.
Short of a major health crisis, Grampy's name will be on that ballot come November.

Even if the Rethugs did try to change horses midstream, they would not manage to get organized enough in such short amount of time to inflict significant damage.

... Which isn't to say that McCain WON'T win. My motto: Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people or the dishonesty of the people counting the votes.

8. Step one will be during the Olympics Bush and Blair will make a big deal of converting to
to the Catholic Church to take the spot light off the Olympics and annoy China. By then McCain will be 25 points down and at their convention, soon after ours, they will pull the switch.

If your candidate is going to lose, why not go with a Hail Mary candidate.

Be ready for the switch.
