Media fumbles again during Obama press conference...

Obama just gave a brief but great talk on energy and also did an excellent job of fielding questions from reporters.

What I don't understand is how a candidate can unveil a Kennedyesque, 10-year "put a man on the Moon" energy policy without once mentioning a position on nuclear power and not have it arise as a question.

Whether you're for or against nuclear power, it's such an obvious thing to ask at an energy talk -- rather than dumbass, off-topic questions about crime and politics in Chicago.

I understand Obama not focusing on the nuclear power issue -- that's smart. But the media? They remind me of the seagulls in "Finding Nemo" -- only instead of "mine!" they say nothing but "Pick me!"

I'm looking forward to debates where real people ask questions, instead of those mindless, sound byte-oriented lemmings.

2. For that reason it's not much of a policy, is it? You have to address it one way or another.

3. You cannot address the energy situation without talking about nuclear energy
clean coal, oil, bio fuels, wind & solar, conservation, etc.

It isn't a complete picture without everything on the table
